Tom Johnston is Director, Strategic Projects, at Rhinestahl Corporation. In his role as Director, Tom oversees key strategic growth initiatives for the Customer Tooling (CTS) business. His specialty is working with key customer accounts in the development of special agreements and partnerships as well as large contract negotiations. Tom also has responsibilities for corporate legal matters, key supplier development and acquisitions.
Tom joined Rhinestahl in 1989 as a Quality Engineer and Manager, hired to implement new OEM quality system requirements across the entire manufacturing operation. He then moved into production and operations management before becoming the Director of Sales and Engineering. In 2009, Tom played an integral role in Rhinestahl’s acquisition of the General Electric Customer Tooling Solutions.
Tom successfully integrated the former GE employees with new hires and existing Rhinestahl personnel into a new facility, current headquarters, in Mason, Ohio, creating Rhinestahl CTS. Since then, Tom has been responsible for growing CTS through key relationships with CFM and most recently Rolls-Royce.Learn more
Alan Oak joins Rhinestahl as the CTS Chief Operating Officer where he leads and supports all CTS sales and operational activities worldwide. Alan has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the aerospace industry, where he has focused on people and process excellence, resulting in superior customer satisfaction. Including his most recent role as President of Crane Pumps & Systems, Alan previously held leadership roles with GKN Aerospace, serving as the Vice President/General Manager of their Engine Products East business, and Goodrich Corporation, leading Goodrich Pump and Engine Controls as the Vice President/General Manager.Learn more
John leads the Rhinestahl AMG business unit which is engaged in complex machining and fabrication solutions for high tech industries world-wide. John brings over 25 years of commercial and general management leadership to Rhinestahl with a track record of developing and executing operational and commercial growth strategies.
John’s experience includes roles with Ingersoll-Rand Co. focused on commercial operations and sales leadership. John was then with Sullair Corporation, a part of United Technologies, in sales and general management leadership roles before joining IDEX Corporation in global sales and marketing and general management leadership positions.
Amy Meyer, VP Corporate Development leads our Marketing and Human Resources organizations and is charged with developing our brand and talent as we grow our global business. Amy has over 25 years’ experience in human resources, marketing and sales, with a proven track record in transforming organizations through proactive strategies. Her broad experience has translated across industries including positions at AAA Allied Group, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc, a Johnson and Johnson Company, Cincinnati Bell, and F+W Media. Amy holds a BS in Marketing/Quantitative Analysis from Miami University and M.Ed. from Xavier University.Learn more
As CFO, Jim Martin leads the global finance, accounting and IT organization at Rhinestahl
with responsibilities including general accounting, financial and strategic planning, acquisitions, tax,
treasury, and hardware, software, network and application support.
Jim came to Rhinestahl in 2014 with an extensive background in corporate finance, IT and
manufacturing with over seven years of experience as CFO at Fives Machining Systems
and MAGS IAS. He held financial leadership roles at GE, PricewaterhouseCoopers,
and the Woolworth Corporation. Altogether, he brought over
twenty-five years of financial and IT experience to Rhinestahl.
Jim earned his MBA in finance at Bryant University after attending the University
of Rhode Island and earning his BSBA in finance and accounting.
