Congressmen, Students attend Rhinestahl AMG Manufacturing Day

MASON, Ohio – October 5, 2017 – Rep. Steve Chabot (Ohio’s 1st Congressional District) and Rep. Warren Davidson (Ohio’s 8th Congressional District) are scheduled to tour Rhinestahl AMG manufacturing facility with local students as part of Manufacturing Day on Friday, Oct. 6. Rhinestahl AMG is partnering with Butler Technology and Career Development Schools to host nearly 100 students and educators from Colerain and Northwest High Schools to promote careers in manufacturing.

Students will see demonstrations on 5-axis machining, and attend presentations on the manufacturing industry. Manufacturing Day is a nation-wide event, held every year, on the first Friday in October. Manufacturers invite students, parents, and educators to their facilities in a collective effort to promote high-tech manufacturing and inspire the next generation of skilled workers.

“Careers in manufacturing are exploding today, and with Butler Tech’s partnership, we have created the platform to introduce students to a successful career in this industry. Rhinestahl has outstanding career opportunities and Manufacturing Day is a great way to get students excited about a fulfilling lifelong career in manufacturing,” said John Thompson, VP and General Manager of Rhinestahl AMG.
