Rhinestahl Selected as LEAP Tooling Provider for Avianca
CINCINNATI – July 17, 2017 – Rhinestahl Customer Tooling Solutions (CTS) recently announced that it has been selected by Avianca, one of Latin America’s largest airlines, to be its LEAP Engine Stand and Tooling Provider. This tooling agreement extends Rhinestahl’s promise of quality, service, and technical performance securely into the Latin American market.
As Avianca prepares for its CFM International LEAP-1A engine entry into service (EIS), Rhinestahl CTS’s new relationship ensures the delivery of best-in-class engine stands and tooling. The winning trend continues as Rhinestahl has been selected as the primary tooling provider in 22 out of 27 LEAP EIScampaigns by providing exceptional quality and customer service standards. LEAP engines are a product of CFM International, a 50/50 joint company between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines.
