Rhinestahl CTS Selected as LEAP-1B Tooling Provider for MTU Maintenance Zhuhai

CFM International LEAP licensed supplier to provide engine tooling and GSE

CINCINNATI, OH, USA – Rhinestahl CTS, the global leader in aircraft engine tooling and ground support equipment, announced today it was selected by MTU Maintenance Zhuhai as its LEAP-1B engine tooling and ground support equipment provider. Rhinestahl CTS is a CFM International Licensed Supplier for LEAP and will deliver 100% OEM-compliant tooling and superior technical expertise to support MTU Maintenance Zhuhai’s LEAP-1B setup.

Rhinestahl CTS’ proven track record with on-time delivery, quality standards, technical consultation and responsive customer service led to this 354-line item agreement. Rhinestahl CTS is partnering closely with the MTU Maintenance Zhuhai project team to meet the expedited delivery schedule of its tooling and GSE.

This agreement follows a suite of LEAP tooling wins for Rhinestahl CTS including NEOS LEAP EIS and Copa Airlines LEAP-1B EIS. As MTU Maintenance Zhuhai prepares for its LEAP-1B engine shop setup, Rhinestahl CTS will ensure the timely delivery of its tooling and continue to provide technical depth and solutions.

LEAP engines are a product of CFM International, a 50/50 joint company between GE and Safran Aircraft Engines.
